I'm just a girl
who happens to enjoy cats, and
watching CNN on mute
and drawing even though I'm no good and
and wearing long skirts for fun and being a MUSICAL NERD!!! I want to learn as many languages as I can, and travel to tiny countries that you've never heard of. I remember all my dreams and I love all things ethereal, beautiful and dreamlike. I believe in true love, above all.
Night of Anguish/Drink With Me/Bring Him Home—Broadway 2002
I don’t know who took this video, but…it’s just…oh man. Having a clip this long is great because it’s been so long since I’ve actually seen Les Mis on stage. “Bring Him Home” is gorgeous in this and when Enjolras tries to comfort Marius after A Little Fall of Rain I had to internally sniffle several times.
DOWN WITH THE MONTAGUES!

Annie Lennox, “Walking On Broken Glass”
Is it so wrong to be lustful of cravats? I mean just loooooook at them…
an etsy…just for neckwear…
“Tomorrow we’ll discover what our God in Heaven has in store!
One more dawn, one more day… One day more!”
So… I was drawing some stuff… And “One Day More” kept coming up on iTunes…
So I started thinking how the Korra world is kind of in a similar deal as that moment in Les Miserables since there is an impending bender/equalist war, that will probably begin literally tomorrow (today now)… So there was literally ONE DAY MORE…
And so then I thought “man Mako and Asami are so Marius and Cosette, her mom is even dead and all and she’s all rich and privileged and stuff and he’s not”
Which makes Korra Eponine who she actually sort of dressed like in “The Revelation” and Eponine is tough-as-nails too like Korra
And then in my head Tarrlok became Javert because authority and also because sideburns
and then I got to thinking WHO THE HELL IS VALJEAN but then I was like OH
ASAMI IS MY COSETTE SO HER DAD WOULD BE VALJEAN but then I realized OHMYGOD HE EVEN WAS A POOR DUDE WHO WORKED HIS WAY UP AND MADE SOMETHING OF HIMSELF BECAUSE ONE GOOD DUDE HELPED HIM OUT (and he could even be a criminal in disguise *cough*)
And he even went out of his way to help out Mako
SO
anyway
Bolin became Enjolras because I wanted him to hold the flag but now it’s making me all depressed inside because Enjy gets dead
And yes Tahno and Hasook get to be a part of les amis de l’ABC (mostly because LOK is lacking in young men at least by Les Mis standards)
I gave Tahno a gun which may have not been a wise decision
And for a second I ACTUALLY FORGOT Skoochy… WHO IS 100% GAVROCHE AND NO ONE WILL EVER CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE
And he is like THE MAIN LINK between Les Mis and Korra so I wouldn’t be able to live with myself
SO YEAH THESE DOODLES HAPPENED
Hopefully there are people who know the play/book and also love Korra like me. I hope I’m not the last of my species or anything…
So enjoy.
Oh and don’t ask me how the hell Pema and Tenzin ended up the Thenardiers it boggles even mePS I sincerely apologize to the old men in this. HOW DO I OLD DUDES
Perfection this is
and i can’t believe i found another person who likes les mis and legend of korra
Pardon me, here I am. My heart is full. I could not live on as I was living, and I have come. Have you read what I placed there on the bench? Do you recognize me at all? Have no fear of me. It is a long time, you remember the day, since you looked at me at the Luxembourg, near the Gladiator. And the day when you passed before me? It was on the 16th of June and the 2d of July. It is nearly a year ago. I have not seen you for a long time. I inquired of the woman who let the chairs, and she told me that she no longer saw you. You lived in the Rue de l’Ouest, on the third floor, in the front apartments of a new house,—you see that I know! I followed you. What else was there for me to do? And then you disappeared. I thought I saw you pass once, while I was reading the newspapers under the arcade of the Odeon. I ran after you. But no. It was a person who had a bonnet like yours. At night I came hither. Do not be afraid, no one sees me. I come to gaze upon your windows near at hand. I walk very softly, so that you may not hear, for you might be alarmed. The other evening I was behind you, you turned round, I fled. Once, I heard you singing. I was happy. Did it affect you because I heard you singing through the shutters? That could not hurt you. No, it is not so? You see, you are my angel! Let me come sometimes; I think that I am going to die. If you only knew! I adore you. Forgive me, I speak to you, but I do not know what I am saying; I may have displeased you; have I displeased you?
“Sale el Sol” - LOS MISERABLES (by todoMUSICALEStv)
one more day - les miserables (spanish production
In all honesty, I’ve never heard the songs of Les Miserables in Spanish before, but this struck me as particularly lovely. It sounds so good in that language, and such a wonderful production.
